The history of Köberlein & Seigert
1969
The company is founded by Josef Köberlein in Saal an der Saale (Bavaria).
1977
Köberlein launches the first stepfeeder on the market.
1980
Köberlein enters the automotive industry with his own feed devices.
1981
The company moves to Bad Königshofen (Bavaria) and builds a new production facility.
1992
The facility in Bad Königshofen (Bavaria) is expanded to 4000 m².
1993
The company sets up its own design department.
1997
Köberlein purchases and expands a second plant in Breitungen (Thuringia).
1998
The company obtains ISO 9001 certification.
2000
Köberlein sets up a subsidiary in the USA.
2005
The company is sold to a new partner and its name changed to “Köberlein & Seigert”.
2007
The company builds a new factory in Queienfeld (Thuringia). The plant has 5000 m² of production capacity and + 1800 m² of design and office space. The sites in Breitungen (Thuringia) and Bad Königshofen (Bavaria) are merged.
The new production site in Campobello, South Carolina (USA) starts operations.
2009
Köberlein & Seigert is recertified to the new ISO 9001:2008
2015
Köberlein & Seigert LLC, USA celebrates its 15th anniversary.
2017
In July, Köberlein & Seigert is successfully recertified to the new ISO 9001:2015.
Delivery of the first large interlinked unit.
2019
Köberlein & Seigert GmbH celebrates its 50th anniversary.
2023
Change in management.
Mr. Reiner Holzmann takes over sole management.
This is accompanied by changes in the shareholder structure.
